The '''[[School SCRABBLE Word List]]''' (2018 edition), SSWL2018, was edited by
the NASPA [{Dictionary Committee]] in 2018, and incorporates changes made to
the corresponding [[OTCWL2018]] lexicon.
Like its predecessors, it consists of those words that are acceptable in the regular [[Official Tournament and Club Word List]] (OTCWL) that are considered appropriate for school use.

== Availability ==

It will be available to NASPA members for electronic study and tournament adjudication purposes in the
NASPA [[Zyzzyva]] program, starting with version 3.2.0. School SCRABBLE competitors in the
2018-2019 season may apply for a complimentary season [[School SCRABBLE Membership|membership]]
to gain access to this tool.

It is also available for personal use as a free download (password required) through NASPA [{{SERVER}}/cgi-bin/services.pl Member Services].

To view a list of differences between specific editions of SSWL and OTCWL, use Zyzzyva to search for words that are in one lexicon but not the other. There are 591 words that are in OTCWL2018 but not in SSWL2018; all words in SSWL2018 are in OTCWL2018.
